Long-read sequencing has become the new standard and new frontier for genomic research applied to all forms of life. This is an exciting opportunity and entails novel challenges. Each and every individual lab has to work out the quirks of how to get all protocols running to get the most out of every sequencing platform. This can be a significant challenge given limited sample volumes, non-specialized personal, limited funding, and limited openly accessible end user experience. This user group is aimed to abate these issues by bundling communal experience for high moleclular DNA extraction and sequencing.
