Donor selection criteria created in partnership with LifeSource MN.
Guidelines
This protocol required prior approval by the users' local Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Review Board (IRB) or equivalent ethics committee(s), depending on the source of the tissue.

Screening/Acceptance

OUC to provide donor information VERBALLY during screening-discuss donor age, sex, type (BD/DCD), relevant medical history, HLA, and serology results.
OUC to place acceptance in TN allocation pages.
OUC to obtain preferred contact and include in TN notes.
DC to place acceptance on OR determination note.
Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria
INCLUSION CRITERIA
- Age: 0 to 80 years (No lower limit), both sexes
- Donor Type: DB, DCD (Donot after circulatory death)
- WIT/CIT: Recovery will happen in the OR by the researcher
- Accept donors with CDC defined increased risk
- ME authorization, if applicable
- Accept RPR/STS positive
EXCLUSION CRITERIA
- HIV positive, HbsAg positive, HCV positive
