Scope
The scope of this SOP includes:
Husbandry protocol (Housing, Social Needs, Enrichment, Diet, Water)

Responsibilities
  • SOP Author: responsible for production of the SOP and its described procedures
  • SOP Owner: responsible for reviewing and approving changes to the SOP
  • Lab staff and students: responsible for following the procedure
  • NO CHANGES to this SOP are authorized without the explicit approval from the SOP owner
Housing conditions
Mice are group housed, up to 5 per cage, in ventilated shoebox cages with 75 in2 floor area and 5.5” height. Cage change is weekly where new food, nesting, and enrichment materials are provided.

  • 20-80%
