Materials

Tissue Extraction ReagentThermo Fisher ScientificCatalog #FNN0071 :

  • Warm reagent to Room temperature .
  • Add protease inhibitor tablet (1 tablet/10 mL ).

Protein extraction protocol

Warm reagent to Room temperature .

Add protease inhibitor tablet (1 tablet/10 mL ) (complete EDTA free).

Add amount of reagent to each sample and transfer to bead beating tube.
Homogenize tissue sample in bead beater (see protocol in notebook), speed 3; let samples sit On ice for 10-00:15:00 after to settle.

Centrifuge homogenized sample at 10000 rpm for 00:05:00 .

Collect supernatants and store in -80 °C .
