Troubleshooting
Creating Base Stock
Weigh 0.5 g of Kanamycin Sulfate
Amount1 µL

Add 10 ml of sterile H2O.

Dissolve completely.

Pre-wet a 0.2 µm syringe filter by drawing through 5-10 ml of sterile H2O and discard water.

Sterilize Kanamycin Stock through the prepared 0.2 µm syringe filter.

Stock may be kept at -20°C for 1 year.

Diluting For Immediate Use (working concentration is 100µg/mL)
Dilution is to be done at 1:500 stock to water.

Ex: Mix 2 µL stock of the prepared stock with 998 µL water for a 1mL solution
