Abstract
We aim to select a mouse placentas each from male and female fetus different timepoints to perform scRNA-seq, bulkRNA-seq, and spatial assays such as Xenium, CODEX Phenocycler and visium and H&E.
Guidelines
This protocol requires prior approval by the users' Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or equivalent ethics committee.
Troubleshooting
We aim to select a minimum of n=4 mouse placentas each from male and female fetus (total of 8) at 4 different timepoints.

For C57Bl/6 strain (E9.5, E11.5, E13.5 and E17.5) and at 1 timepoint (E13.5) for 7 other mouse strains (WSB, A/J, NOD, NZO, 129S1, PWK and CAST) that have not been studied before are used.
With these placentas, we plan to perform scRNA-seq, bulkRNA-seq, and spatial assays such as Xenium, CODEX Phenocycler and visium and H&E) for a total of ~150 placentas.
