This document outlines the inclusion and exclusion criteria for donors of brain tissues in the Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP).
HuBMAP Donor Selection Criteria for Inclusion in the UCSD TTD

INCLUSION CRITERIA
  • Tissue donors participating the Brain and Body Donation Program at Banner Sun Health Research Institute
  • Tissue donors 19 years of age or older

EXCLUSION CRITERIA
  • Tissue donors under the age of 19 years
  • Tissue donors with hepatitis B or C, tuberculosis, syphilis, HIV-AIDS, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease or other prion or viral encephalopathies (infectious or highly contagious brain diseases)
