Abstract
Highfield Diagnositc`s has developed a COVID-19 rapid diagnostic test (RDT), which is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay (LFA), that detects nucleoproteinin nasal swab specimens.The test provides a simple colorimetric readout of results in less than 30 minutes (including sample preparation time) at a cost of <$5 per test, with no special reader or additional equipment. This scalable and accessible solution puts simple and frequent testing capacity, without the need for skilled personnel, into the hands of billions across the world.
