Abstract
The effects of ferrous ion-chelating activity were conducted according to Guo et al.An aliquot of 1 ml extract was added to a solution of 100 µL of FeCl3 (2.0 mM), 3.7 ml of distilled water and 200 µL of ferrozine (5.0 mM). After 20 min, the absorbance was recorded at 562 nm. The inhibition percent and IC50values were calculated.
