Abstract
Background: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is increasingly performed worldwide due to its safety and effectiveness. This study will aim to assess the evidence of early versus delayed feeding after ESD on quality of care, which remains to be fully determined.
Methods: Electronic database (PubMed, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, EMBASE) and the trial registry (the World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Platform Search Portal and ClinicalTrials.gov) wii be searched. Study selection, data abstraction and quality assessment will be independently performed using Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation approach. Self-rated satisfaction and hospital stay will be chiefly analyzed.
