To quickly go through the process, we reccommend having patients prepare saliva as they wait, to shorten the amount of time between patients.

Use oral saliva swab kit

to obtain minimum Amount1 mL of saliva, maximum Amount2 mL

Add Amount1 mL of gold nanoparticles and Amount1 mL of saliva into 5mL-eppendorf tube. Mix using vortex mixer for Duration00:00:05 .

Place tube into sample holder of Raman spectrometer and turn on then press scan.
Results will display within seconds
