Abstract
Best way to randomize animals between the groups in order to reduce heterogeneity, standardize randomization protocol, increase statistical power, and/or reduce number of animal per experiment.
Troubleshooting
Animal randomization
In Excel, list all the animal with the variables that you are tracking (weight, tumor size, blood pressure, etc.) that is relevant for the experiment
You can export your data from Excel to CSV.

  • Go to
File > Save As

  • The Save As dialog box appears, choose
CSV (Comma delimited)

See more info on Excel documentation .
Create an account if you do not have one and log in.
Go to Menu > Randomize
Open the CSV file describing your animals and copy and paste into the form `data`

Let it run and you will receive the report by email
