Abstract
The optimal concentration of long-term glycerol storage is unknown. Most labs store bacteria in 15-25% glycerol.
Collect Glassware
Collect a 0.250 L bottle with top.

Dilute Glycerol
Pour 1 part (50 mL) of glycerol with 1 part (50 mL) of deionized H2O
Autoclave
Place autoclave tape on the lid of the bottle and autoclave at 121°C for 20-30 minutes
Note
Make sure the lid is loosened to avoid pressure build up.

Storage
Store at room temperature.
